Explanation:

The City of Hollywood Fire Rescue and Beach Safety Department has determined the need to purchase equipment to enhance the provision of fire and rescue services throughout the City.

 

The Fire Rescue and Beach Safety Department desires to accept these grant funds in the approximate amount of $368,181.81.

 

 

Fiscal Impact:

Grant funding in the approximate amount of $368,181.81 will be appropriated in the FY 2023 Operating Budget and Capital Improvement Plan via a separate budget and capital amendment.

 

The estimated value of the City’s in-kind match is ten percent or $36,818.19, which is available in the FY 2023 amended Capital Improvement Plan in account number 334.219901.52200.564530.000104.000.000.
