Explanation:
The City of Hollywood seeks to complete a Citywide vulnerability assessment update in order to fully comply with F.S. 380.093 requirements, incorporate its new Stormwater Master Plan, conduct analyses to comply with the Peril of Flood statute section 163.3178(2)(f), and draft corresponding comprehensive plan language.
On October 12, 2022, the City Commission adopted Resolution R-2022-304, accepting a grant from the State of Florida Department of Environmental Protection ("FDEP") for funding through its Resilient Florida Grant Program in the amount of $800,000.00. The grant is to fund the Citywide vulnerability assessment update, and FDEP awarded the total grant request which has no match requirement. Staff is currently working on the Grant agreement with FDEP.
The City has followed the requirements set forth in Section 287.055 Florida Statutes, entitled "Consultants Competitive Negotiation Act" ("CCNA") and the City's Procurement Code to obtain the services of engineering design consultants for this project.
On August 25, 2022, the City advertised on www.bidsync.com Request for Qualifications No. 4752-22-WV for Engineering Design Services for the Citywide vulnerability assessment update.
On the response due date of September 27, 2022, the Office of the City Clerk and the Department of Design and Construction Management ("DCM") received Statement of Qualifications packages from the following four firms:
1. Hazen and Sawyer
2. Moffatt & Nichol
3. Tetra Tech, Inc.
4. WSP, USA, Inc.
