Staff Recommends: Approval of the Attached Resolution.

 

 

Explanation:

Gray Robinson was authorized to develop regulations for the small cell technology through Resolution R-2020-196. The agreement authorized the payment of $57,500.00 to the Law Firm for this work.  The Ordinance was adopted by the City Commission on October 7, 2020.

 

During consideration of the above ordinance, the City Commission directed staff to continue working with the Law Firm to develop similar regulations for the non-communication industry. Staff requested a proposal from the Law Firm for the additional legal services and received the attached proposal in the amount of $40,000.00.

 

This request is to authorize payment of the $40,000.00 for the development of the new Ordinance. 

 

 

Fiscal Impact:

Funding for this service is available in the FY 2021 Operating Budget account number 001.140202.51500.531300.000000.000.000.
