Staff Recommends:  Approval of the attached Resolution.

 

 

Explanation:

The Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts ("PRCA") identified the need to replace the skatepark at Stanley Goldman Memorial Park (“SGMP”).

 

PRCA negotiated the design build cost for the replacement skatepark for a Guaranteed Maximum Price of $650,000.00, which staff has determined to be fair and reasonable and in accordance with industry standards.

 

The Director of PRCA recommends that the City Commission approve and authorize the Construction Contract for the SGMP skatepark replacement in the amount of $650,000.00.

 

 

Fiscal Impact:

Funding for this project was included in the amended FY 2023 Capital Improvement Plan and is available in account number 301.309902.57200.563060.001540.000.000.
