Explanation:
This Resolution will establish a timetable for the production of minutes under Florida Statutes 286.011(2). Florida Statutes requires meeting minutes be “promptly recorded,” published and open to public inspection.
The meeting body is required to produce minutes for public inspection within 120 calendar days immediately after the meeting.
Events of non-compliance will be exception-based with notification to the meeting body justifying the reasoning, delineating the new completion date, and remedies to address future non-compliance
Fiscal Impact:
Approval of this Resolution will not fiscally impact the City.
