Staff Recommends: Approval of the Attached Resolution.

 

 

Explanation:

On October 4, 2017, the CRA Board passed and adopted Resolution R-CRA-2017-40, which directed CRA staff to implement a Parklet Pilot Program for a one year period in the Downtown CRA. On September 5, 2018, the CRA Board passed and adopted Resolution R-CRA-2018-30, which set the rate and time frame for the Parklet Pilot Program, including approving the placement of a Parklet Seating Area adjacent to Go Bistro Restaurant.

 

Go Bistro is the owner of the restaurant operation located at 2035 Hollywood Blvd.

 

The property owner desires to enter a Parklet Revocable License Agreement, and will maintain the necessary liability insurance, indemnify and save harmless the City and other wise abide by the terms and conditions specified in each license agreement. The attached license agreement reflects a six month term and lost revenue recovery fee of $8.00/day per parking meter taken out of service.
