Explanation:

On October 9, 2025, the City Commission passed and adopted Resolution No. R-2025-346, approving an agreement with Easterseals of South Florida, Inc. for Adult Day Care Services at Oak Lake Community Center from January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2031.

 

Easterseals of South Florida, Inc. received up to $249,109 in State 2025-2026 appropriations funding, distributed through the Area Agency on Aging of Broward County, Inc., to provide services for the Hollywood Adult Day Care Program from March 1, 2026 through June 30, 2026.The agreement supports ongoing adult day care services for seniors in the community.

 

The Resolution authorizes the City of Hollywood to amend its Agreement with Easterseals of South Florida, Inc. to continue providing adult day care services at Oak Lake Community Center. The Amendment provides up to $250,000.00 in State 2026-2027 appropriations funding, allocated through the Area Agency on Aging of Broward County, Inc., for services from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. The Resolution also authorizes City officials to execute the First Amendment to the Agreement.
