Explanation:
The City operates an existing four million gallons per day reuse system at the Southern Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant (SRWWTP).
The City plans to expand the existing reuse distribution system to convey more than 200,000 gallons per day reuse water for landscape irrigation of large green areas in West Hollywood.
One planned project consists of 17,600 linear feet of 12-inch reuse water main along Johnson Street between North Park Road and North 66th Terrace.
The City of Hollywood, Florida ("City") and Broward County, Florida ("County") entered into an Interlocal Agreement (ILA) for a 50% cost-sharing grant in the amount of $132,000.00 for the 12-inch reuse line extension project on March 14, 2017 pursuant to Resolution No. R-2016-356.
According to the executed ILA, the deadline to complete the design of the project was October 2018.
It was agreed upon by the County and the City to extend the project completion deadline to June 30, 2019 via first amendment to the ILA.
