Explanation:
The Department of Public Works oversees all City of Hollywood buildings and facilities. Public Works is responsible for janitorial services and the cleaning of these buildings. Public Works would like to utilize these cleaning services for multiple departments throughout the City.
With this responsibility, the Public Works Department would like to piggyback the City of Hialeah Citywide Janitorial Maintenance services contract No. 2022-23-8500-36-039, which was competitively bid the City of Hialeah as RFP No. 2022-23-8500-36-039. This contract is from April 22, 2204 through April 21, 2027 with two one-year renewal periods.
SFM Janitorial Services, LLC has agreed to extend to the City the same pricing under the terms and conditions set forth in Citywide Janitorial Maintenance Services/RFP No. 2022-23-8500-36-039.
The Director of Public Works and the Director of the Office of Procurement and Contract Compliance recommend that the City Commission authorize the appropriate City officials to issue a Blanket Purchase Agreement with SFM Janitorial, LLC for janitorial maintenance services for an estimated annual amount of $175,000.00.
