Explanation:
The City has served as a Host Agency in the AARP Foundation’s Senior Community Service Employment Program (the “Program”) for a number of years. Under the Program, the AARP Foundation assigns Program participants to the City for training and work experience at no cost to the City. The City again wishes to serve as a host agency in the Program. The Host Agency Agreement proposed by the AARP Foundation requires each party to indemnify the other and therefore, City Commission approval is required. This Resolution will allow the City to continue its partnership with AARP.

There is no fiscal impact to the City associated with this item.
