Staff Recommends: Approval of the attached Resolution.

Explanation:

The Police Department desires to lease 15 vehicles.  Resolution No R-2022-201 was approved by the Commission on July 6, 2022 which authorized a lease for 15 vehicles.  Due to supply chain issues in the car industry, those vehicles are no longer available at the price originally planned.   Therefore, R2022-201 needs to be repealed. The Department desires to enter into a new lease for the vehicles currently in its possession.

Fiscal Impact:

The funding for this lease is available in the FY 2023 Operating Budget in account number 001.204105.52100.54005.000000.000.000.
