Staff Recommends: Approval of the attached Resolution.

 

 

Explanation:

The purpose of the Sustainability Advisory Committee is to make recommendations to the City Commission to develop environmental goals and implementation plans, create educational campaigns, and promote Hollywood’s accomplishments.

 

There are 15 positions. The current Committee members are Anthony Aiello and Nathan McCune in the business category; Graham Penn in the South Building Association; Vyacheslav Cherkasov, Natacha Desamours, Jordan Holaday, Sheleen Khan, Liliana Pacelli, Julia Poliadis, Jade Vinet and a vacant not filled in the City wide member category; Michael Naim in the alternate category; Alec Manasse in the student category and two vacant not filled in the student alternate category.

 

Due to the expiring term of Business Member Anthony Aiello, the expiring term of Citywide Member Liliana Pacelli, the expiring term of Youth Member Alec Manasse, an unfilled Citywide Member position, and two unfilled Student Alternate Member positions, there is one Business Member vacancy, two Citywide Member vacancies, one Student Member vacancy, and two Student Alternate Member vacancies.

 

 

Fiscal Impact:

Approval of this resolution will not fiscally impact the City as this is a proposal to appoint board members.
