Staff Recommends: Approval of the attached Resolution.

Explanation:
The attached Resolution seeks City Commission authorization to execute the attached revised Agreement between the City of Hollywood and the School Board of Broward County relating to the terms and conditions for the continuation of the School Resource Officer Program in our seven (7) local public middle and high schools for the 2013-2014 school year.  The City of Hollywood will receive a total of $323,764.00 from the Broward County School Board for the deployment of one (1) School Resource Officer in each of the seven (7) middle and high schools in the City of Hollywood referenced in the Agreement. This amount is the same that was received from the School Board of Broward County for the 2013-2014 school year. The payment from the Broward County School Board will partially defray some of the costs associated with the City's School Resource Officer Program.
This proposed Resolution has no impact on the City-Wide Master Plan.
