Explanation:
The Police Department and PRCA seek to increase the Blanket Purchase Agreement ("BPA") with SFM Janitorial Services, LLC, for janitorial services to include cleaning and maintenance of the new Police Department headquarters, community centers citywide and City Hall. The Commission approved Resolution R-2025-324, which authorized the current BPA for cleaning the 2nd-floor library. The services at all locations will include routine carpet and window cleaning, along with general janitorial work, to prevent wear and tear and ensure a clean, hygienic work environment and maintain sanitary conditions in facilities for daily public use.

Services provided by SFM Janitorial Services, LLC were originally procured by piggybacking on the City of Hialeah agreement, which will expire on April 21, 2027. The current BPA amount for the 2nd-floor library is $262,500.00. The estimated annual cost for janitorial services at the new Police Department headquarters, PRCA-managed community centers and City Hall is $687,500.00. The total for all spaces during the initial term is $950,000.00.


Fiscal Impact:
A portion of the funding for the Blanket Purchase Agreement is available in account numbers 001.204001.52100.531170.000000.000.000, 001.300101.57200.552240.000000.000.000, 001.300201.57200.531170.000000.000.000, 001.500301.51900.531170.000000.000.000, and will be budgeted in subsequent fiscal years' operating budgets subject to approval and adoption by the City Commission.
