Explanation:
On June 16, 2023, Senate Bill No. 2500 was approved by the Governor of Florida, which included $950,000.00 in appropriations for construction associated with Johnson Street C-10 Bridge Widening Project.
FDOT requires the City to execute a State Funded Grant Agreement that defines the project scope, responsibilities, terms, and conditions upon which the appropriated funds will be provided and to set forth the way the project will be undertaken and completed.
Fiscal Impact:
Approval of this resolution will not fiscally impact the City as this is a proposal to accept a State appropriation in the amount of $950,000.00 to be used for construction associated with the Johnson St C-10 Bridge.
The construction costs associated with the project have been estimated to be $3,804,500.00, of which $950,000.00 will be provided via the appropriation of the State Funds.
