Explanation:
On August 19, 2024, a Phase I Pre-Construction Services Agreement was executed with Waypoint Contracting Inc. ("Waypoint") for The Butler Rock House project in an amount up to $1,625.00.

Waypoint completed Phase I Preconstruction Service and provided the Department of Design and Construction Management ("DCM") with a Phase II construction services Guaranteed Maximum Price proposal for the construction of The Butler Rock House Project; in an amount up to $549,615.04 with an owner allowance of $75,000.00 included within the proposal amount, which staff has determined to be fair and reasonable and in accordance with industry standards.

It is in the best interest of the City to enter into an agreement with Waypoint to provide Phase II construction services for The Butler Rock House Project pursuant to the attached agreement.

The Director of DCM recommends that the City Commission approve and authorize the execution of the attached Construction Management at Risk Phase II Construction Services Agreement for The Butler Rock House Project ("Agreement") in an amount up to $549,615.04.

Funding for this project was included in the amended FY 2025 Capital Improvement Plan and is available in account number
