Explanation:
The Department of Public Utilities requires maintenance and repair services from Pantropic Power Inc., for the emergency power equipment at the Southern Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant, Water Treatment Plant, Sewer Lift Stations, Stormwater Stations, Biscayne Wells, and portable electrical generators. It is imperative to perform yearly preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to keep the generators in functional condition and reliable at all times.
On August 21, 2023, Broward County awarded and entered into an agreement with Pantropic Power, Inc. under the Broward County/OPN2125761Q1 agreement for the supplies and services of Diagnostic Repairs Services. The agreement between Broward County and Pantropic Power, Inc. is effective from August 21, 2023, and it runs until August 20, 2026. Upon request, Pantropic Power, Inc. agreed to extend to the City the same pricing under the terms and conditions set forth in Broward County No. OPN2125761Q1. The City desires to utilize the agreement in the same manner over a one-year period or for the period from December 1, 2023 to August 20, 2024 and for two additional one-year renewals until August 20, 2026.
