Explanation:
The Department of Development Services requires professional consultant services for the Building Division to provide additional IT support for the implementation of the Accela Permitting Software. GovForce, Inc. has expertise in Accela implementations and has successfully provided services in neighboring cities across Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. It offers a roster of subject matter experts with the ability to efficiently manage the modifications needed for the highest and best use of the Accela software.
GovForce has been instrumental in tailoring and validating the Accela workflows, and there is a desire to continue to use the vendor for this specialized technical guidance, expertise in system configuration, and ability to provide end-user training support to City staff in alignment with best practices.
Given the continued growth of major projects in the City of Hollywood, the Department of Development Services seeks to renew the Blanket Purchase Agreement with GovForce, Inc. in the amount of $300,000.00 for the first renewal term, covering the period from February 21, 2026, through February 20, 2027.
Funding was anticipated in the individual contractual line items for the Building Division pursuant to the adopted Fiscal Year 2026 Budget, and as such, this request is only to renew the contract.
