The proposed ordinance aligns City regulations with this state law while incorporating important safeguards to uphold design quality, community compatibility, and equitable housing outcomes. The regulations apply Citywide and reflect the Act's requirement for mixed-use development, which is triggered because only 9.06 percent of Hollywood's land is designated for commercial and industrial uses.
