Explanation:
The Department of Development Services requires Document and Media Scanning Services. The services are needed in support of scanning essential for City documents and microfilm as required for long term storage and timely retrieval. Services included, but not limited to pick up, transport, document preparation, scanning, and indexing. The converted images with metadata will be provided in Laserfiche format (volume) appropriate to be imported into the Laserfiche environment for record retention purposes.
On April 26, 2023, the City of Fort Lauderdale awarded the bid to Advanced Data Solutions Inc who agreed to extend to the City of Hollywood the same pricing under the terms and conditions set forth in the City of Fort Lauderdale's Bid and contract. The Piggyback will be for one year with an option to renew for one additional year.
The Department of Development Services recommends that the City Commission approve and authorize the issuance of a Purchase Agreement for Advanced Data Solutions Inc. based on the City of Fort Lauderdale Bid 12696-535, not to exceed $150,000.00.
