Explanation:
In its Fiscal Year 2001 budget process, the State of Florida, through the Department of Elder Affairs, appropriated funding in the amount of $228,000.00 to the City of Hollywood.
This funding was approved by the State of Florida to be awarded to the City of Hollywood on a reoccurring annual basis, contingent upon the availability of such funds at State level.
On May 16, 2018 (R-2018-146) the City Commission approved and authorized execution of the Local Service Programs Master Contract and Memorandum of Understanding for Fiscal Year 2018/2019.
This Resolution seeks to amend Resolution No. R-2018-146 with the correct contracts attached in error with for execution for Fiscal Year 2018/2019 for the acceptance and appropriation of funding for the Areawide Council on Aging of Broward County, Inc. Elder Grant.
