Explanation:
At the completion of each fiscal year’s budget, past program years are reviewed for program compliance. To meet spending deadlines, this resolution re-allocates previously awarded and unexpended Community Development Block Grant (“CDBG”) funds to provide public improvements in eligible areas of the City and previously awarded and unexpended HOME funds to provide Tenant Based Rental Assistance.
On August 9, 2023, the Community Development Advisory Board conducted a duly noticed public hearing on the proposed amendment to the One Year Action Plan for Federal Program Year 2022 and recommends approval of the proposed amendment by the City Commission.
Fiscal Impact:
Funding will be reallocated in Fiscal Year 2023 Operating Budget as detailed in Exhibit 1, subject to approval of the resolution.
