Explanation:
The Office of the City Attorney and the Office of Labor Relations are seeking to engage the services and enter into an agreement with a qualified firm to provide legal counsel for Defense of Workers compensation claims.
The selected qualified firm would provide legal review and advice on workers' compensation claims as well as represent the City in the defense of workers' compensation claims and workers' compensation subrogation claims as requested by the City.
On August 5, 2015, Request for Proposals (RFP) Number 4460-15-RD was electronically advertised via BidSync in accordance with the City's Purchasing Ordinance, Section 38.42(A).
RFP-4460-15-RD was opened at 3:00 p.m. on September 3, 2015, and resulted in the following eight (8) responses:
