Explanation:

On November 18, 2022, Request for Qualifications Number RFQ-015-23-GJ (“RFQ”) was electronically advertised on OpenGov.com to solicit qualified firms to provide design-build services for a skatepark in accordance with Section 38.43(A) of the Procurement Code.

 

The Selection Committee recommends that the City Commission authorize the appropriate City officials to negotiate an agreement with the highest ranked firm, America Ramp Company, to design and build a skatepark at Stanley Goldman Memorial Park.

 

The Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts desires to enter into an agreement with American Ramp Company to provide design-build services for a skatepark at Stanley Goldman Memorial Park.

 

 

Fiscal Impact:

Funding for this project was included in the amended FY 2023 Capital Improvement Plan in account number 301.309902.57200.563060.001540.000.000.  The contract cost is unknown until negotiations are finalized and required funding will be determined at that time.
