Explanation:
The Development Services Department, Division of Planning and Urban Design, desires to retain a consultant to undertake a comprehensive evaluation and development of a redevelopment program for the Washington Park Industrial Area of the City of Hollywood. As such, on November 19, 2024, Request for Proposals Number RFP-229-25-SK ("RFP") was electronically advertised on OpenGov.com to solicit the desired Redevelopment Program development, in accordance with Section 38.43(A) of the Procurement Code. The RFP was solicited and resulted in proposals from the following two firms by the response due date: Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. and Plusurbia Design.

On February 20, 2025, the Selection Committee met to evaluate and rank the proposals based upon the approved Evaluation Criteria established in the RFP: Firm and Project Team Qualifications and Experience; Technical Approach and Timeline; Consultant's Fee Proposal; and Local Preference (Administratively Scored). The Selection Committee evaluated the two proposals and the scores were compiled to arrive at the following rankings, with the highest score being the highest ranked:

1. Plusurbia Design 83 Points
2. Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. 74 Points

Both firms were shortlisted and invited to provide oral presentations for further consideration by the Selection Committee.
