Explanation:

On August 28, 2024, the City Commission passed and adopted Resolution No. R-2024-TBD approving amending the One Year Action Plan for Federal Fiscal Year 2019-2020 to re-allocate $160,546.12 of unused CDBG-CV funding to Public Services.

 

Liberia Economic and Social Development, Inc. (“LES”) provides food for Hollywood residents at the LES Food Pantry. This is a public service program and has been successfully operated programs to assist with food services to Hollywood seniors for many years. The Department of Development Services/Community Development Division will manage an agreement with LES funded by CDBG-CV funds. 

 

The Community Development Division desires to utilize current CDBG-CV funds to support the LES Food Pantry by providing $41,429.00 to LES to provide food to Hollywood seniors.

 

 

Fiscal Impact:

Funding for this agreement is available in the FY 2024 Operating Budget in account numbers 115.160101.55400.584660.001220.000.000 and 115.160101.55400.584660.001409.000.000
