Explanation:
The Departments of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts and Public Works desire to purchase smart infrastructure solutions, outdoor sensors, solar lighting and related products and services for the installation of solar lighting for street, parking lot and facilities essential for improving safety, visibility, and accessibility in public areas during evening hours. These smart infrastructure solutions reduce energy costs and support the City's commitment to sustainability and operational efficiency.
The desired smart infrastructure solutions and services were competitively bid by Sourcewell through solicitation number RFP 045125-FNR on February 25, 2025, and awarded to Fonroche Lighting America Inc ("Fonroche") under Master Agreement #041525 from August 05, 2025 through July 22,2029, with an option to renew the contract for three additional one-year terms.
Fonroche has agreed to extend to the City the same pricing under the terms and conditions set forth in Sourcewell Master Agreement Solicitation RFP No. 045125-FNR.
