Staff Recommends: Approval of the Attached Resolution.

Explanation:
The Department of Public Utilities maintains 85 lift stations, 10 stormwater pump stations, a water treatment plant, and a wastewater treatment plant. All these facilities have pumps, motors, and related equipment that require regular maintenance to ensure regulatory and permit compliance, prevent sewer overflows, ensure safe drinking water, and reduce street flooding. Repairs must also be conducted periodically, especially as equipment ages.

The desired motor and pump repair services were competitively bid by Martin County and awarded to Tripp Electric Motors, Inc. ("Tripp") under contract RFB2023-3545 Pump and Motor Repair ("RFB2023"). The initial term of the contract is from November 7, 2023, through November 6, 2026, with two optional one-year renewals in an annual amount up to $ 300,000.00.

Tripp has now agreed to extend the same pricing, terms, and conditions as those in RFB2023 to the City.

Fiscal Impact:
A portion of the funding for this purchase is available in the FY 2025 Operating Budget in account numbers
443.410101.53800.546310.000000.000.000, 442.400603.53600.552240.000000.000.000, 442.400602.53600.552240.000000.000.000, and 442.400502.53600.552240.000000.000.000, and will be budgeted in subsequent fiscal years' operating budget subjects to approval and adoption by the City Commission.
