Explanation:

The Police Department has been authorized as a sub-grantee to receive Urban Area Security Initiative (“UASI”) sub-grant funds in the approximate amount of $333,497.00 from the Department of Homeland Security to enhance public safety and emergency management UASI approved projects, training and equipment.

 

 

Fiscal Impact:

Grant funding in the approximate amount of $333,497.00 will be appropriated in the FY 2024 Operating Budget for the 2022 UASI grant as detailed in Exhibit 1.
