This item involves conducting a Public Hearing on the City's One Year Action Plan and Projected use of Funds for Federal Program Year 2021-2022.

The City of Hollywood One Year Action Plan for Federal Program Year 2021-2022 provides a concise summary of the actions, activities, and the specific federal and non-federal resources that will be used to address the priority needs and specific goals identified by the Consolidated Plan.

The City is projected to receive $1,238,416.00 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds and $528,410.00 in Home Investment Partnership (HOME) funds for Federal Program Year 2021-2022.

Notice to the public advising of the availability of a summary draft of the proposed One Year Action Plan was published in the Miami Herald on June 7, 2021. The proposed One Year Action Plan has been available for public inspection and comment at the Community Development Division. The activities described in the proposed One Year Action Plan for Federal Fiscal Year 2021-2022 reflect the recommendations of staff and of the Community Development Advisory Board ("CDAB").

The One Year Action Plan is submitted to HUD via an on-line platform known as the Integrated Disbursement and Information System (IDIS). The attached version of the proposed Plan was downloaded from IDIS.

After the public hearing the City Commission may adopt the recommendations, as proposed, or the Commission can modify the One Year Action Plan in any way desired within the limits of the applicable federal regulations.
