Explanation:
The Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts (“PRCA”) is seeking funds for the Holland Park Boat Dock Improvement project for the removal of existing structure and installation of concrete piles, ramp and a floating dock.
PRCA has applied for The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission 2022 Boating Improvement Program (“BIP”) grant in the amount of $200,000.00. The BIP grant requires a five percent match from the City.
Fiscal Impact:
If awarded, grant funding in the amount of $200,000.00 will be appropriated in the FY 2022 Operating Budget as detailed in Exhibit 1.
The estimated value of the City’s required 5% match is $10,000.00, which is to be paid in-kind from PRCA staff salaries.
