Explanation:

The Police Department is requesting authorization to expend State Law Enforcement Forfeiture Funds in the amount of $225,000.00 for costs associated with the acquisition of law enforcement equipment for use by law enforcement personnel that supports law enforcement activities.  The planned purchases include firearms. 

 

 

Fiscal Impact:

The Law Enforcement Forfeiture Fund received sufficient funding in prior years to allocate the requested $225,000.00. Funding will be made available in Fiscal Year 2026 Operating Budget as detailed in Exhibit 1, subject to the approval of this resolution.
