Explanation:
The U.S. Coast Guard, the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, and the National Safe Boating Council request that National Safe Boating Week, May 16-22, 2026, be observed to bring attention to important life-saving tips for recreational boaters so they can have a safer, more fun experience on the water throughout the year.
The proclamation will be accepted by a representative of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla Dania Beach.
Fiscal Impact:
Approval of this proclamation will not fiscally impact the City.
