Explanation:
The U.S. Coast Guard, the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, and the National Safe Boating Council request that National Safe Boating Week, May 18-24, 2024, be observed to bring attention to important life-saving tips for recreational boaters so they can have a safer, more fun experience on the water throughout the year.
The proclamation will be accepted by Peter Paige, Flotilla 39, Vice Commander, Public Affairs Officer FSO-PA, United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla Dania Beach.
Fiscal Impact:
Approval of this proclamation will not fiscally impact the City.
