Explanation:

The Arts Park in downtown Hollywood offers residents and visitors a wide array of visual and performing arts themed educational, recreational and entertainment activities including concerts.

 

The Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts would like to apply for the one-to-one match State of Florida, Department of State Division of Art and Culture 2022 General Program Support (“GPS”) Grant.  These funds would be utilized for additional concerts, events, and promotions.

 

Fiscal Impact:

If awarded, grant funding in the approximate amount of $100,000 will be appropriated in the FY 2023 Operating Budget. Matching requirements for this grant will be satisfied with the salaries of the Special Events Division.
