Explanation:
Effective May 1st, 2022, Administrative Police HR-097 was approved by the City Manager establishing the Excellence in Continuous Improvement Award. The Excellence in Continuous Improvement Award was created to encourage employees, at every level of the organization, to implement small improvements (or quick wins) within their respective departments and offices. The award recognizes an individual or team who has implemented a project that is both innovative and most impactful to enhancing City operations.
A selection committee comprising of five Department Directors (or their designees) reviewed seven submissions from the following departments and offices: Police, Development Services, Communications, Marketing, and Economic Development, Procurement & Contract Compliance and Financial Services. A brief description of the submitted projects are attached to this item.
Adam Reichbach, Assistant City Manager for Finance and Administration, will recognize the nominees and then present the award to the winning team.
Special recognition to the committee members who had the difficult task of selecting only one recipient team amongst a group of competing projects.
