Staff Recommends:  Approval of the attached Resolution.

 

 

Explanation:

The Hollywood Art and Culture Center, Inc. (“HACC”) provides cultural services to the public of all ages through its visual arts, performing arts and curriculum-based programs including summer arts camp.

 

The HACC is one of six Major Cultural Institution Status and the only one with this status in Hollywood or South Broward.

 

FY2023 funding assisted supporting these programs.

 

The City wishes to enter into a new agreement with the HACC for the 2024 fiscal year.

 

Fiscal Impact:

Execution of this grant will provide cultural services through visual arts, performing arts, and educational programs for a one-year term beginning October 1, 2023, and ending September 30, 2024, in the amount of $205,000.00.  Funding for this agreement is available in the FY 2024 Operating Budget in account number 001.300601.57200.531170.000000.000.000.
