Explanation:

The resolution seeks the approval of the blanket purchase agreement with TKH Security LLC F/K/A Park Assist, LLC to install a parking guidance system at the Garfield Parking Garage, in an amount up to $231,003.24, the annual license fees for years two through six of $9,987.50, basic maintenance plan for an amount up to $73,090.00 for years two through six and contingency amount for repairs not covered by basic maintenance plan in an amount not to exceed $50,000.00 resulting in a combined total amount up to $364,080.74. The implementation of this guidance system will provide accurate real-time information on available parking spaces, thereby reducing congestion and enhancing the flow of traffic.

 

 

Fiscal Impact:

Funding for the purchase of the Parking Guidance System is available in the FY 2025 Capital Improvement Plan in account number 446.159901.54500.564531.001604.000.000.

 

A portion of the funding for the License Fee and Maintenance is available in the FY 2025 Operating Budget in account number 446.150203.54500.552240.000000.000.000 and will be budgeted in the subsequent fiscal years’ operating budgets subject to approval and adoption by the City Commission.
