Title
An Ordinance Of The City Of Hollywood, Florida, Creating Section 72.100 Of The Code Of Ordinances To Prohibit Parking Of Certain Vehicles On Public Property Except In Bicycle Racks, Docking Stations Or Similar Devices.
Body
Staff Recommends: Approval.
Explanation:
A bicycle, motorized scooter or go-ped parked on public property except in a bicycle rack, docking station or other device designed for the parking of such vehicle can obstruct the property and create an eyesore. The City Commission can mitigate this problem by regulating the parking of these vehicles on public property.
This ordinance would prohibit the parking of these vehicles on public property except in a bicycle rack, docking station or similar device.
