Explanation:

Stan Goldman Park is a 12 acre passive park located in Hollywood that features a fitness trail, fishing area, playground, picnic areas, pickleball courts, skatepark and restrooms.

 

The park is in need of improvements and renovations to meet a variety of parks and recreation interests within the community.

 

The Director of Parks and Recreation and Cultural Arts would like to apply for, and accept if awarded, a grant available through the 2022-2023 Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program for such improvements.

 

 

Fiscal Impact:

If approved matching grant funding in the amount of $200,000.00 will be appropriated in the FY 2022 Operating budget for Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program as detailed in Exhibit 1.
