Explanation:

On November 19, 2003 the City of Hollywood and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County, Inc. (“BAGC”) entered into a Sublease Agreement in order to lease classroom, office and recreational space in the West Hollywood Neighborhood Network Center (“WHNNC”) located at 1111 N. 69th Way.

The BAGC approach the Department of Parks, Recreation & Cultural Arts asking to utilize additional space in the WHNNC to expand recreational programming to include programs and activities geared towards the teenage community.  BAGC will pay all associated costs for the renovation including all applicable Broward County School Board, Broward County and City of Hollywood permits and licenses.

The School Board of Broward County was informed of the proposed changes and is in favor of the proposed renovations.

Fiscal Impact:

Applicable city permit revenues may be collected from this project.
