Explanation:
The Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts (“PRCA”) recommends the purchase of a Front Row Concert Stage and accessories to allow for mobile concerts and events occurring throughout the City.
The desired equipment was competitively bid by the Houston-Galveston Area Council through the Helping Governments Across the Country Buy (HGACBuy) Invitation to Bid No.: PR11-20 on March 26, 2020, and awarded to Century Industries, LLC (“Century) under Contract No: PR11-20 (“Contract).
The current term of the Contract is from November 1, 2025, through October 31, 2026. Century has agreed to extend to the City the same pricing under the terms and conditions set forth in the Contract
The Director of the PRCA and Chief Procurement Officer recommend that the City Commission approve and authorize the issuance of a Purchase Order to Century industries for the purchase of the Front Row Concert Stage and accessories in an amount up to $231,610.00.
Fiscal Impact:
Funding for this purchase was included in the amended FY 2026 Capital Improvement Plan and is available in account number 334.309901.57200.564530.001856.000.000.
