Explanation:
On August 28, 2024, the City Commission passed and adopted Resolution No. R-2024-TBD approving amending the One Year Action Plan for Federal Fiscal Year 2019-2020 to re-allocate $160,546.12 of unused CDBG-CV funding to Public Services.
Community Enhancement Collaboration, Inc. (“CEC”) provides food for Hollywood residents at the CEC Food Pantry. This is a public service program and has been successfully operated programs to assist with food services to Hollywood seniors for many years.
The Community Development Division desires to utilize current CDBG-CV funds to support the CEC Food Pantry by allocating $46,571.00 to CEC to provide food to Hollywood seniors.
Fiscal Impact:
Funding for this agreement is available in the FY 2024 Operating Budget in account numbers 115.160101.55400.584660.001220.000.000 and 115.16101.55400.584660.001409.000.000.
