Explanation:
The City of Hollywood, Community Development Division issued RFQ-162-24-SK to create a qualified pool of State of Florida General Contractors to provide construction services in conjunction with the City's Owner-Occupied Housing Rehabilitation Program (the "Program") and in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this solicitation.
The services include:
? Category 1: General repair and rehabilitation, including sewer-connection services, of owner-occupied dwellings within the city, on behalf of households. Additional services under this category include, but are not limited to:
* Extensive and minor interior and exterior home repairs, including, but not limited to driveways, fencing, and exterior paint.
* Demolition of substandard housing and construction of new housing on property owned by eligible households who will occupy the new housing upon completion.
? Category 2: Expansion of the approved vendor list for Residential Roofing Services
? Category 3: Expansion of the approved vendor list for Installation of Residential Impact Windows and Doors
RFQ submittal deadline was February 14, 2024, and resulted in Statement of Qualifications (SOQs) from thirty-eight firms as follows:
