Body

Staff Recommends: Approval of the attached Resolution.

Explanation:

The Department of Fire Rescue and Beach Safety needs to buy and maintain important emergency medications and medical supplies to keep their emergency services running. This is necessary to comply with the State of Florida Emergency Medical License regulations. For over 25 years, Memorial Healthcare System has been providing these supplies reliably and affordably. Both the Department and Memorial decided to combine their separate agreements for medical supplies and pharmaceuticals into one single agreement to make the process easier and more efficient.

Fiscal Impact:

A portion of the funding for this Blanket Purchase Agreement is available in the FY 2026 Operating Budget in account number 001.215101.52200.552320.000000.000.000 and will be budgeted in subsequent fiscal years’ operating budgets subject to approval and adoption by the City Commission.
