Staff Recommends: Approval of the Attached Resolution.

Explanation:
In 2020, the City Commission approved Resolution R-2020-130 authorizing Transmap Corporation to perform a Pavement Management Study. A total of 447 miles of pavement (359 miles of streets and 88 miles of alleys) were analyzed. Pavement conditions were evaluated through a block-by-block survey, and a list of recommended pavement maintenance and repair locations based on condition was developed. Staff reviewed the segments identified in the study and used the study as one of the tools to develop the City's annual Capital Improvement Program for public street and alley asphalt resurfacing while taking into consideration the locations scheduled for reconstruction under the Public Utilities water and sewer infrastructure program.

The Department of Development Services, Engineering, Mobility, and Transportation Division desires to execute agreements with several contractors to perform the necessary roadway and alley asphalt maintenance work. This bid emphasizes asphalt work items but also includes miscellaneous items for general right-of-way improvements. Examples of potential general right-of-way work include ADA ramps, curbing, sidewalks, tree trimming, and tree removal.
