Explanation:
This Resolution provides support for the submission of a grant application. Grant applications will be ranked next year, and projects selected are anticipated to receive funding in Fiscal Year 2035/2036.

The Broward Metropolitan Planning Organization ("Broward MPO") has adopted Commitment 2050, its Metropolitan Transportation Plan, and will have funding available from the Federal Highway Administration.

To facilitate the distribution of these funds, the Broward MPO established the Roads for Economic Vitality ("REV") Program, which streamlines funding for local mobility projects. The REV Program projects are delivered by the Florida Department of Transportation under the Local Agency Program ("LAP").

Under the REV Program, the City of Hollywood intends to submit a grant application on June 17, 2026, for a Sidewalk Infill Project within the Program's funding limit of $5,000,000.00 in construction costs in 2035.
