Explanation:

The City of Hollywood seeks to enhance the cultural landscape of the City through the Art in Public Places program Pursuant to Article 3.22 (J) of the City of Hollywood's Zoning and Land Development Regulations.

The Pinnacle Housing Group, LLC is in support of the City’s goal of creating aesthetically pleasing centers of community and has donated three art pieces to be permanently displayed at recently completed 441 Linear Park.

On February 27, 2025, a Public Art Review meeting was held to evaluate a proposed public sculpture design for three art pieces titled "The Trio" - Set Sail, Ascending Heart, and Pair of Hearts.

The Public Art Review Committee had completed their review of “The Trio” based on content, context and design pursuant to Article 3.22 (J), and have granted their approval for positioning within the City’s 441 Linear Park which is also located within the Florida Department of Transportation’s (“FDOT”) right-of-way.

FDOT requires a Community Aesthetic Feature (CAF) agreement to be executed between the City and FDOT prior to any construction within their rights-of-way. The CAF agreement formalizes the installation, ownership, and maintenance responsibilities of such improvements.

Fiscal Impact:

Funding for the construction of this project is included in the FY 2026 Capital Improvement Plan.
