Explanation:
Mydatt Services, Inc., d/b/a Block By Block, has been providing clean and safe services in Downtown Hollywood since 2010. The Clean and Safe Ambassador Program provides services that include but are not limited to litter abatement, graffiti removal from public property, replenishment of mulch, minor repairs, special projects such as painting, emptying of trash receptacles afterhours, distribution of information to business owners and patrons, and assistance with special events as needed.
Block By Block provides a team of 10 ambassadors and one supervisor. The services are performed seven days a week, including holidays, from approximately 7:00 am to 11:00 pm.
On December 5, 2018, the CRA Board passed and adopted Resolution No. R-CRA-2018-053 which authorized the Hollywood, Florida Community Redevelopment Agency to execute an Agreement for a Clean and Safe Ambassador Program with Mydatt, Inc. D/B/A Block By Block. More recently, on April 6, 2022, the CRA Board passed and adopted Resolution No. R-CRA-2022-09 which authorized the CRA to execute an amendment for the first renewal for a two-year period expiring on January 28, 2024. At this time, we are presenting the second and final renewal which will expire on January 28, 2026. The cost of the first year of this second and final renewal period is an estimated annual amount up to $586,034.73, and the cost of the second year is an estimated amount up to $600,652.40.
