Explanation:
The U.S. Coast Guard, the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, and the National Safe Boating Council request that National Safe Boating Week, May 22-28, 2021 be observed to bring attention to important life-saving tips for recreational boaters so they can have a safer, more fun experience on the water throughout the year.
The proclamation will be accepted by the Ronald W. Hady, Flotilla Staff Officer, Public Affairs, and an Executive Officer of the Coast Guard Station in Fort Lauderdale.
The proclamation will be presented at the May 19, 2021 City Commission Meeting.
Fiscal Impact:
Approval of this proclamation will not fiscally impact the City.
